Neurology

Neurology, a combination of the words neuron (nerve cell) and logos (science), means neuroscience. Neurology is interested in any part of the body that contains nerve cells such as the brain, cerebellum, spinal cord, body nerves, arm and leg nerves, optic nerves, ear nerves, even stomach and heart nerves.

We can protect our brain, which is our most important organ for a healthy life, with the brain check-up program, which can control the functions of the brain, draw the brain map, make memory and intelligence measurements. The brain check-up aims to map the brain and nervous system and examine them with laboratory methods. It is very important for diagnosing diseases of the nervous system.

Neurological examinations

PSG (polysomnography)

CPAP titration

NPT (Neuropsychological test – forgetfulness test)

Cognitive rehabilitation

EEG: This method allows us to study the working characteristics of the brain. It is often used in cases of unconsciousness, seizures and headaches.

EMG: The working properties of nerves and muscles are studied. It is used for nerve compression, pain in arms and legs, loss of strength.

Brain tomography and MRI: They are used for visual assessment of the brain.

Other methods: Blood tests, Doppler, ultrasound, genetic testing, muscle biopsy.
